Thank You

A most heartfelt THANK YOU to all of those who made our October 16th 2010 event so successful!  We had a FABULOUS time!

Your most generous donations enable us to help men who have left incarceration and are moving toward independence and being contributing members of the community.  Through your donations we are able to purchase clothing, shoes, toiletry items, the basics that a person needs upon release from prison.  Your generous donation also helps toward the reconditioning of donated bicycles to be used as transportation, plus locks for security.  Also allows us to provide funds for BART, bus and other transportation needs so these men can seek work, donate their time to speak to at risk youth and go to college.   Your most generous donation also brings us closer to our dream of having a CRI House for these men to be released to.  A safe place for them to prepare for their future, a bright future thanks to people like you.

We thank you so much for standing with us to make such a difference in the lives of currently and previously incarcerated men who have done the work to realize where they came from, who they are, and where they are going.  For those of you lucky enough to have attended our most recent event you heard the stories from our Co-Founder Mr. Sam Vaughn regarding his 10 years of incarceration and transition back into society, our Vice President Mr. Bryan Smith about his 25 year plus incarceration, what lead to that incarceration and how he changed.   As many of you have expressed these men were able to give you a new insight into the type of man we serve and will serve.   Men that you would be able to call neighbor even friend.

For those of you that missed our event and learning about the men we are assisting we hope you will join us in 2011.
